Fireworks Sales with the MI Kiwanis and the VFW Post 5760-  MI Lodge #297 along with the Kiwanis and VFW Post 5760 will once again be selling "Safe and Sane "fireworks to the community of Mercer Island. Sale starts on Wednesday June 28th throught Tuesday July 4th 2017.  A part of the proceeds from this project goes back to the comunity in the form of Masonic Scholerships for Mercer Island High School seniors.  The seniors can apply for this scholership through the high schools counciling office, they submit an application which is then judged by the Masons where one senior boy and girl are picked and then awarded a monetary amount to be given to the college they will be attending.  The juniors can also apply, the winners  being awarded a certificate and the chance to do it again in their senior year.  The senior award is given at the Senior breakfast that is held by the High School before graduation.

City of Mercer Island - Summer Celebration 2017 - The fun happens on July 8th and 9th this year, we will once again have a booth where we will be handing out Masonic information and answering questions about the fraternity, rumor has it that there may even be some unique balloon animals for the kids.  We will once again be taking part in the parade this year which is in the morning on Saturday the 8th.  All Masons are invited to attend and show there Masonic pride.
